My name is Heather Turner, and I am a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, embodiment educator, and sacred facilitator who supports women in reconnecting with the wisdom of their bodies. I integrate nervous system education, intuitive movement, somatic practices, sound therapy, and Kundalini yoga to create supportive environments for healing, integration, and embodied expression.

Before this work, I spent years as a performer and costume designer, immersed in dance, movement, and character transformation. In that role, I witnessed how clothing and character influenced how women felt in their bodies. Those experiences showed me how deeply identity and emotion are held somatically long before they become words. Today, I draw on that foundation through intuitive movement and somatic exploration, inviting women to build interoceptive awareness, agency, and presence.

My path spans over two decades of personal practice, study, and lived experience. During that time, I have trained in somatic healing and embodiment frameworks, sound therapy, and Kundalini yoga—integrating these modalities into a holistic, body-based approach to emotional integration, nervous system resiliency, and spiritual connection.

Qualifications & Training

  • Trauma-Informed Somatic Practitioner

  • Embodiment Educator

  • Kundalini Yoga Practitioner (20+ years of personal practice)

  • Sound Therapist (private + group sound baths)

  • Facilitator of ritual, ceremony, and women’s sacred spaces

  • Dance and performance background integrated into intuitive movement.

My work has also been shaped by motherhood, community involvement, and a long personal healing journey. These lived experiences have given me a grounded understanding of how much women carry in their bodies—and how meaningful it is to be met with attunement, safety, and respect..

My Devotion to Supporting Women

I believe healing unfolds at the pace of the body. It does not require force, urgency, or fixing, but space, choice, and support. My sessions are client-led and paced with the body’s timing, offering environments where women can slow down, feel more, and build nervous system capacity in a way that feels sustainable and self-directed.

Whether I’m working individually or in community, my intention remains the same: to offer body-based education, trauma-informed care, and spaces where women feel seen, supported, and sovereign in their process.
