I was born into a world that didn’t know how to hold big feelings. As a girl, I learned to tuck my emotions away — to be the good girl, the golden child, the one who smiled through silent pain.
By my teenage years, that pain turned into rebellion.
I numbed, disconnected, and used my body as a way to cope.
Control felt safer than feeling.
But beneath the chaos, my soul was stirring.
Heartbreak cracked me open. Loss brought me to my knees. And in the stillness of surrender, I heard the whisper:
“Feel it. Don’t run. This is your way back.”
That moment began the sacred remembering… I returned.
Then initiated into motherhood, something shifted.
Through breath, movement, and tears, I slowly reclaimed my body….not as a battlefield, but as a temple.
It was a place I could soften into, a place which became the first home for my children.
Motherhood didn’t just deepen the work, it gave it direction.
There was no more bypassing what I felt.
My children mirrored the parts of me that still needed care:
the overwhelm, the sensitivity, the patterns I hadn’t yet seen.
So I began to stay.
To stay longer with the discomfort… and in doing so, I discovered something new… my capacity for pleasure.
I learned to listen to my body instead of override it.
To build a relationship with my nervous system.
To reparent myself while raising my children.
This is where my work was born.
Embodied Rising is the space I’ve created for women, especially mothers, who are ready to understand their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and move through life with more presence, capacity, and self-trust.
You are not too much.
Your sensitivity is not a flaw.
It is your strength.
Welcome to Embodied Rising. You belong here🌹
